Freedom Park, Lagos—German President, Joachim Gauck, visits Noble Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, on Tuesday 9 February.
In a courtesy visit to Prof. Wole Soyinka,Germany President Joachim Gauck paid the Noble Laurete today a visit at his office at Freedom Park Lagos in company of his wife and partner Mrs.Daniela Schadt
Joachim Gauck who is on visit to Nigeria had earlier met with Akinwumi Ambode, the governor of Lagos State. At Freedom Park, Mr. Gauk was given a tour by the Park’s designer Arch Theo Lawson, in the company of Folly Coker, Lagos State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, and Musician, Ade Bantu, other principal staffs of Freedom Park and members of the Press.
Then the children dance troupe, Footprints of David, delighted the guests with their charming dance steps before Mr. Guack proceed to a closed door meeting with the Professor.
The President later departs for his home country Germany later on.
