The event Fit Food Fun which is to be held on Saturday  5th of November at the Jaekel House is to raise funds for the protection of Nigeria cultural artefacts. Legacy, the NGO organizing the event, was established in 1995.

Legacy was formed with the objective of  gathering together committed men and women, Nigerians and non-Nigerians,  united for the common cause of promoting and preserving the character  and appearance of historic monuments and the environment and cultural  entities in all parts of Nigeria.

FIT FOOD FUN is to be held in conjuncture with ELITEBOX, the first and only commercial boutique boxing gym in Nigeria. EliteBox is headed by Rehia Giwa-Osagie, an ex-boxer himself recently featured on CNN. He started his professional boxing career in the UK. Two years ago, he moved back to Nigeria and started the gym. He is all round trainer, educating people about the sport and how best to use it to achieving great health and fitness. Also, he is currently coaching boxing for all levels.

The event would be held at the beautiful historical setting of the 118 year old Jaekel House, located in the railway compound at Ebute Metta, Yaba. This historical building was remodeled to its former glory by Prof. John Godwin in 2010.

An exciting array of activities have been lined up to cater to all interests and ages. They range from boxing, yoga, dance to arts. Also, there will be historical walkabouts and movie screening. It would be a full day of fun with activities lined up from 8am to 9pm.
