It was a gathering of creative artistes, musicians, lover of arts, entrepreneurs,Gentlemen of the press and the “elites” today at the press conference held in Commemoration of the forthcoming 18th annual MUSON Festival themed “Coming of Age”.

This press conference was no different as it was aimed to formally inform and educate the media personnel present on the programme line up of this year’s festival in line with the vision of MUSON as well as create a cordial ambiance for interaction between the festival planning committee and the press. Today’s event created a new atmosphere of cordiality which had been lacking in the relationship between the officials of MUSON Festival planning committee and the press.

It is a step in the right direction for the very conservative institution which is mostly misinterpreted as an ‘elitist’ organization. As this has most importantly created a new bridge of connection, creativity and communication was opened between both parties.

This year’s festival promises to be a grand one because it features the likes of; Ace jazz artiste BEZ and Imoleayo Balogun, creative and talented producer of repute Wale Oguntokun who is also the director of the adaptation of Cyprain Ekwensi’s Jagua Nana into a stage play, TV personality and actress, Ashionye Michelle Raccah and so many more…
