The MUSON Festival 2014 is one music festival all lovers of classical music,stage play and Art shouldn’t not miss. At the 2014 kick off of the Festival yesterday,it was a pretty sight to see the who is who in Nigeria. An evening that brought all loves of music from all different works of life together ,not to forget important personalities and icons that were seen on the red carpet of the event.
The personalities branded as Special guest of Honours were: former Secretary General to the Commonwealth, CHIEF EMEKA ANYAOKU CFR, CON, GCVO; former Vice Chancellor of University of Ibadan, PROFESSOR EMERITUS AYO BANJO, JP, CON, NNOM; former Minister of Housing, Lands and Urban development, HON. CHIEF (MRS.) MOBOLAJI OSOMO, and Former Ambassador, and daughter of the Political sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, DR. (MRS) TOKUNBO AWOLOWO DOSUNMU, who however could not be present. The session was moderated by the architect, music enthusiast, KITOYI IBARE-AKINSAN, who is Chairman of the Festival Planning Committee
The 10 day Festival will run from October 16th of October till 26th.
