This is an official invite to the grand Exhibition opening of ile (Home in Yoruba) is slated for this Saturday October 29th 3 pm to 6pm at The Jaekel House Museum, Nigeria Railway Compound, 17 Federal Road, Ebute-Metta, Lagos.
We are honoured to have the works of Oladimeji Coker being shown. This exhibition is a call to everyone to get in touch physically and mentally with their origin before everything we once cherished about them is lost.
Our origins represent heritages passed on from generation to generation. It is our collective duty to ensure that they are not neglected and passed on from our generation to the next.
This exhibition event is geared at raising awareness on the need to preserve history, culture and to raise awareness of LEGACY’s efforts on this frontier as well. LEGACY 1995 is the Historical and Environmental Interest group of Nigeria.
