Informing and Educating. ASIRI,the contemporary way to discover Nigerian history, culture, heritage and arts.
The term ‘lost civilisation’ is very vague, but dteeons something quite negative.I was born and raised in Ile-Ife and I do feel like it’s losing it’s culture a little bit, even as a remote town. It’s campus O.A.U. however is doing pretty well.I really should read the article by the British Exhibition Museum to understand the context.. will try and be back to comment afterwards.Hmmmm… Ife… Lost. Civiisation??
