Prof Sophie Oluwole is an emeritus professor of African Philosophy and a world leading expert in African history and cultural studies.Speaking at the just concluded 40th anniversary of Quintessence Gallery, Lagos, the vibrant Professor cleared the air on the misconceptions about African culture and religious beliefs saying it is absolutely wrong to portray them in negative connotations and other misleading interpretations.
One of the issues she stressed was the general belief of “Orunmila” being a god.
