What better place to be on a Saturday afternoon, than Freedom Park Lagos ? Freedom parks welcomes you with it’s beautiful scenery and takes you on a historical journey like no other. A former Colonial Prison now transformed into the biggest cultural and literary hub in Lagos,Nigeria.

Warmly welcomed to Freedom Park by its Media and PR officer, Mr Damola Ogundele, Olawale Oloforo, popularly known as Brymo, had a firsthand experience of Freedom Park and its museum, the afro soul artiste came in company of his manager Lanre lawal.

Brymo was left in awe of how much history the park holds, and how bits of it are still preserved. Mr. Damola Ogundele did not fail to properly explain and tell him about historical figures that were once present  as prisoners on the grounds as well as various tales which the grounds hold.

The park gave Brymo an idea of what existed before, through pictures, art, artifacts as well as structures. You could tell he was amazed by his reactions and eagerness to see and learn more. The museum did not fail to give him new historical insight and also, bring him closer to our roots.

After hours of discussion and exploring the grounds, Brymo leaves Freedom Park, with memories that will not be forgotten. Its was a thrilling, amazing and educating experience for the Afro soul artiste.
