Once again, the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) is opening doors to the public for full participation in its forthcoming MUSON Festival 2015 themed “Celebrating the School of Music-Music through Young Nigerian Eyes”. The Press Briefing held at its premises last Tuesday had in attendance the Vice Chairman of MUSON– Sir Louis Mbanefo (SAN); Director of the MUSON School of Music- Marion Akpata and other festival organising committee members.
This year’s MUSON Festival promises to be an exciting experience for Music and Art lovers. The MUSON 2015 Festival kicks off Wednesday October 14th with a Grand Finale of the Music Quest of 7 finalists and will run through to Sunday October 25th, 2015. Highlights of this year’s festival programs will include “Jesus Christ Super Star”from Playhouse Initiative scheduled for Friday and Saturday October 16th/17th; the MUSON Classical Concert on October 18th and the Festival Recital on October 19th. This is not forgetting to mention the much anticipated performance from the MUSON Choir prime to stage “Pirates of Penzance” which will form integral part of the closing activities leading up to Festival Gala Night.
