The Lagos audience will be thrilled to a stage performance of the Play titled UNSTABLE, on June 24 at the MUSON Centre, Onikan. The Play UNSTABLE is ably directed by the award-winning, and widely respected Ben Tomoloju.
An impossible love story set within the scenic grandeur of a fictional kingdom reminiscent of the ancient Benin Kingdom, this story shows a King on the seeming path to ruin when he saves a beautiful outcast from a mob’s blood thirsty cries. Conflict abounds in this story and only the redeeming power of love can bring a solution there in.
The play UNSTABLE is a 2015 winner of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Drama prize, and it is written by Dickson Ekhaguere.
Bringing this play to life on the stage (through the masterful direction of Ben Tomoloju) are iconic acts which include: Tina Mba, Bassey Okon, Ropo Ewenla, Segun Dada, Olu Okekanye, Williams Ekpo, Friday Francis, Iquo DianaAbasi and Inna Erizia – to mention some of the 35 man cast.
The producers (MYL Nigeria) say their main aim is to revive theatre in Nigeria (especially in the youth), and make theatre a popular as the cinemas. A laudable objective
