Among people in the audience were Jahman Anikulapo,Theo Lawson, Prof Ojewuyi, Femi Odugbemi,Tunde Kelani,Segun Odegbami,Makinde Soyinka,Masked one Lagbaja ,Mrs Modupe Adekunle to mention but a few. Following the sterling performance was a closing remark by Makinde Soyinka  who thanked everyone for making this year’s WSICE a glorious success. The Ijegba residence of the Nobel laureate had witnessed a flurry of activities as family members and well-wishers came in raft to mark his 81st Birthday. Attended by individuals and government functionaries, the event was adequately publicized. In the light of the huge success of previous edition, fans of the Professor from Lagos especially had waited in great anticipation to experience this edition.
